The new Mesh Tent 1 offers breezy, versatile, very lightweight protection against mosquitoes, no-see-ums, and other bugs for those who prefer the minimalist approach. The Mesh Tent 1 is a classic ridge-tent design, so all you need to pitch it are ridgeline supports and a little imagination: Tie the supports to trees, or use trekking poles. Paddles will work, as will fallen tree branches. Its sewn-in floor keeps both ground moisture and crawling animals out, and Hilleberg builds the Mesh Tent 1 with their lightest weight mesh. Unlike many mesh fabrics, this one is woven rather than knitted, so it has a very fine mesh structure, is softer to the touch while still offering excellent durability, and is remarkably light.
